Lecture: In the realm of website management, two critical processes stand out: website evaluation and website maintenance. Website evaluation involves assessing a site's usability, accessibility, and overall effectiveness in meeting its goals. This assessment typically focuses on the design, navigation, content, and functionality, aiming to identify areas for improvement that can enhance user experience and website performance. Regular evaluations can reveal potential issues that may be hindering the site's success, enabling timely interventions that improve navigation, content quality, and overall functionality, thereby boosting traffic and conversions.




On the other hand, website maintenance is the ongoing practice of monitoring and improving a website’s performance and health. Essential for ensuring that a site operates at full capacity, regular maintenance tasks include updating security software and plugins, adding fresh content, and ensuring user satisfaction. Weekly maintenance might involve using tools like Google Analytics to track traffic and performance, while monthly tasks include security checks, plugin updates, and content backups. Quarterly reviews focus on content relevance, SEO performance, and user engagement, ensuring that the site continues to meet its strategic goals. Annual maintenance typically involves renewing domain and hosting services, updating legal policies, and possibly undertaking a redesign to keep the site fresh and aligned with the latest trends. Effective website maintenance not only improves the site's first impressions and SEO strategy but also enhances security and boosts sales, making it a cornerstone of successful online presence​​.




Practical & Tutorial: Here are the final week of class with lecturer. We also have finalised the website design and publish it to online.






This is our homepage design, which include the icon of delivery and custom cake. We also include the product categories to let the consumer can easily see through what are the product that our website provide. At the bottom, we include some hottest product image. 






This is our about page design, we include the introduction of cake business, which is Sanne the cake. In the introduction, it talks about what are the business provide. Other than that, we also put on the google map which can pick up by customer. Customer can click on the google map to have a direction on where are the place, it is a funtional map.






This is our contact page design, we design it on purpose by only include the information of how to contact the seller or follow the social media. We want customer can see the direct message and provide what they need, by putting the icon which can click it and go to the social media site.






This is our product page design, we include the product image and provide the menu that can click on to other pages such as birthday cake or festival cake. We put some hottest product image on the page to let customer see what are the outlook of the cake. Each image can be click and can go to other pages.





This is the birthday cake pages, the mainly birthday cake product images. These images are from customize cake order by customer, thats the reason why each cake is different style or color. We list out the name of the cake and the inches, we also put the whatsapp icon which can contact with seller whether they want some changes based on the cake.





This is the anniversary cake pages, the mainly anniversary cake product images. These images are from customize cake order by customer, thats the reason why each cake is different style or color. We list out the name of the cake and the inches, we also put the whatsapp icon which can contact with seller whether they want some changes based on the cake.





This is the festival cake pages, the mainly festival cake product images. These images are from customize cake order by customer, thats the reason why each cake is different style or color. We list out the name of the cake and the inches, we also put the whatsapp icon which can contact with seller whether they want some changes based on the cake.





This is the last pages, which is customize cake. This pages is to let those customer who want to custom their cake, they can fill up the form and send it to the seller.

Week 10 Lecture: This is week 10 lecture class, today lecturer teach us what is S.E.O? S.E.O is Search Engine Optimization, it is the process of improving the quality and quantity of website traffic to a website or a web page from search engines. SEO are actually is quite simple and is worth the effort. It got 57.8% of all web traffic coming from google, it certainly something worth learning. SEO is important because it's the process oif boosting these signals to rank higher in the organic search results. Week 11 Lecture: Today is week 11 lecture class, lecturer teach us what is website frameworks. It is widely popular these days, it mainly because these frameworks make it possible to create a single website that would fit into all kinds of devices regardless of their screen sizes. A framework refers to a package, comprising a structure of files and folders of standarlized code, which can be used in building a website.
