Lecture: Understanding the distinction between client-side and server-side development is crucial for effective web development. Client-side development, also known as front-end development, refers to the programming that runs on the user's device, encompassing everything a user interacts with directly in their web browser. The primary goal of client-side development is to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Client-side developers are responsible for designing the layout, creating user interfaces, and adding form validation and visual elements like colors and fonts. Key technologies and languages for client-side development include HTML, which provides the structure and content that browsers render, CSS, which applies styles to HTML elements enhancing the visual appeal of web pages, and JavaScript, a versatile scripting language used to create dynamic and interactive web pages.



On the other hand, server-side development involves programming that occurs on the server, managing databases, handling requests, and ensuring the smooth performance of web applications. Server-side developers work on dynamic website coding, web application development, and integrating databases with websites. They need to be proficient in languages such as Java, an object-oriented programming language widely used for server-side tasks, Python, an all-purpose language used for creating web applications and other software, and SQL, the industry-standard language for interfacing with databases. Understanding both client-side and server-side development is essential for creating comprehensive and efficient web applications, ensuring a seamless user experience from front-end interactions to back-end data management.




Practical & Tutorial: Today, we started to create a flowcharts including home, about, product, service and contact.

Our website business is a custom cake business. The business is mainly custom cake, customer can order their personalized cake by contact the seller through whatsapp or instagram. We choose the style of simple and clean by using only two color as our website color, which is brown and light beige. We include a lot of cake images to let customer see what are the final custom cake product design by seller, and let them has the confident to trust the seller ability.

S.E.O is Search Engine Optimization, it is the process of improving the quality and quantity of website traffic to a website or a web page from search engines. SEO are actually is quite simple and is worth the effort. It got 57.8% of all web traffic coming from google, it certainly something worth learning. SEO is important because it's the process oif boosting these signals to rank higher in the organic search results. It is widely popular these days, it mainly because these frameworks make it possible to create a single website that would fit into all kinds of devices regardless of their screen sizes. A framework refers to a package, comprising a structure of files and folders of standarlized code, which can be used in building a website.
