Week 1

Lecture: During the lecture class, the lecturer introduced himself and showed his own design work. After the lecturer introduced himself and started to introduce the subject to the students so that they could understand the class assignments and topics. In addition, the lecturer teaches some basics of web design. The lecturer advises the students to choose something simple and interesting when designing a website for the first time. The lecturer said that the lecturer asked the students to create their own boards on Pinterest to put in the inspiration that they look for and like. The lecturer suggested that the students create a mood board on Pinterest to provide them with inspiration for their future assignments. The lecturer also asked the students to record what they learned in the lecture and write it in their blogs as blogs are a way to show the students how to manage and record their design content.


USER INTERFACE (UI) and USER EXPERIENCE (UX)


Practical & Tutorial: In the practical class, the lecturer introduced his work experience as a graphic designer and his teaching experience. He then began to describe what needed to be accomplished for this coursework. He taught us to create our own accounts using Blogger, Pinterest Board and YouTube. We were asked to copy the links and fill in the form, this was so that he could check our progress for each week's class work, and this was so that we could have our own portfolios. Blogger is a tool that we use to keep a diary or a weekly journal that relates to what we are learning. Pinterest is a way for us to keep a record of the types of designs and ideas that we like, so that it is easy for us to do the Pinterest is for us to record our favorite design types and ideas, so that we can find them when we are doing the design, and it can also be used as our progression.

In addition, the lecturer also asked us to do research material on web design on Pinterest and give our opinions.


The banner design of Xbox Controller

The design concept of this banner is simple and minimalist. By only provide some prices and functions. It include some picture in order to attract the customer.





This is a travel related website design and I like the concept of the design such as focusing on putting popular attractions of the country in question in order to attract the attention and curiosity of the customers. In addition to that, underneath these popular attractions there are explanations of the attraction such as where it is located, the name of the attraction and others. The overall design concept is very simple but at a glance you can see what kind of industry the site is about.



This is a website for concert ticket purchases. It is designed to sell tickets and publicize concerts of singers. The site uses a lot of text to explain the dates and times of the concerts, and it also explains how many countries the artist is touring to. In addition to that, there are also personal information about the artist or group and their works.

Week 10 Lecture: This is week 10 lecture class, today lecturer teach us what is S.E.O? S.E.O is Search Engine Optimization, it is the process of improving the quality and quantity of website traffic to a website or a web page from search engines. SEO are actually is quite simple and is worth the effort. It got 57.8% of all web traffic coming from google, it certainly something worth learning. SEO is important because it's the process oif boosting these signals to rank higher in the organic search results. Week 11 Lecture: Today is week 11 lecture class, lecturer teach us what is website frameworks. It is widely popular these days, it mainly because these frameworks make it possible to create a single website that would fit into all kinds of devices regardless of their screen sizes. A framework refers to a package, comprising a structure of files and folders of standarlized code, which can be used in building a website.
